Here’s How To Stop Your Car Windows From Fogging Up This Winter

The classic foggy windshield during winter months. It’s enough you have to deal with the cold, the snow, the ice, and everything else that makes leaving the house a challenge. But when you finally do get in your car and are ready to take off, your damn windshield is all fogged up and you can’t see anything!

Incredibly irritating, and very dangerous. Some people even end up trying to drive this way as they are in a rush and obviously that is going to lead to dangerous outcomes.

Here’s a way to deal with this problem once and for all. Take a pair of old socks and get some kitty litter. Here’s how you do it:

First, get the following:

Roll of Tape
Cat Litter

Now do the following:

First, put the roll of tape at the top of the sock, then roll the fabric over it, forcing the sock to stay open.
Use the opening to fill up the sock with kitty litter, right around the ankle portion of the sock.

Now that the sock is filled, remove the tape and tuck the opening of the sock inside itself so it will seal the cat litter inside.

You will want to then put the sock in your car. Now you will be foggy window-free!

Why does this work? Basically the cat litter pulls in moisture from the air. Any cat litter brand should work. And any alternative to a sock should work as well.

Usually you will want to put this on the dash as that is where it works best. But you can also put it under the seat and you will still get results.
